incense that you can’t smell at all or candles that you can only smell if you come so close that you singe your nose and eyebrow hairs!!!

I have this idea for unique scented items but I wanted to know how are the scents put into the items. Like what if I wanted to make lip balm or candles that smelled like fried chicken and mashed potatoes? (Not really but that sounds lovely.)

Any techniques or certain candle holders that allow you to burn taper candles without having a wax soaked candle holder and surface afterwards?

You know, the real tall glass candles with Jesus and stuff on the side.

I’m just looking for cheap, unscented soy candles. Where are some good places (or THE place) to get them (either online or in a popular store you know of)? Everywhere I’ve looked, they’re overpriced and all scented. I’m not against a faint vanilla or something, but I don’t like strong scents.
