Are partylite candles worth the money?
So a friend just had a partylite candle party and there wasn’t much selection but I did take a book home to decide whether to order something. I just wondered if the candles are any good. Does the scent last? Am I better just buying the Yankee candles? I just don’t want to waste money ordering something first off just by seeing it in a book and then waiting 2-3 weeks for it and then to end up being a waste cause the candles are no better than ones bought at a store.

i’ve never heard of these but i have order some from home interiors and i didn’t think they were worth it. i’d go with yankee or beanpod. also, you can smell b4 you buy.
Just like all the party goods. They are over priced. If you want candles go to Meijer or walmart and get 2 or 3 for what they want for one. Whoever has the party makes a good profit, or less they wouldn’t do it, and to me, it’s nothing more than a legal pyramid scheme. Save your money and help put these guys out of business.
WAY overpriced…and they don’t put out much scent…you’re much better off getting the yankee candles!
I bought some Partylite Candles from a co-worker years ago, and I *really* like them. They burn cooler than most candles, so they do not seem to last quite as long, but to me, they smelled quite a lot better than most of the ones that I’d gotten from a store. They also held their scent well in storage (I had to keep some of them packed for a while when I moved), so all in all, I think they’re a good deal.
Oh,I personally love party light candles , when they burn down there is absolutly nothing left but the little tiny wick holder. They are a little more expensive than Yankee candles, but do have beautiful scents too.The scents last to the very end of the candle,I love the orange and the mulberry scented candles.
I also feel they are over priced. They do look pretty and smell great but they are going to do what any other candle would do, and that is burn away to nothing and make your home smell wonderful!!! So, if you can afford it then buy them, but if you are on a budget then you can go to your local store and buy them. Also our hobby store has candles and the have coupons sent through the mail with 1/2 off a single priced item so you can get something really nice for 1/2 the price.
In my opinion stick with Yankee Candles. I have tried both partylite and yankee and yankee candles have better fragrances and they also last longer.
em, they are pricey and not as good as some that you can buy in a store. if you want to buy a fantastic candle, try;. or at 508-430-7444. she makes these candles with 50% beeswax, 50%paraffin, so they burn cleaner, and have a honey scent to them, like honey orange spice, honey apple, honey harvest, and my personal favorite cape cod morning!!! the girlfriend and i can not go into her store without dropping a couple of hundred dollars, it seems. we go up to the cape at least once a year and stock up. if you have smelled yankee, and like them, these are 100 times better! take my advice and try just one, any scent you pick, you’ll love and then you’ll be hooked, too. good thing that i’m answering you, she write a lot more!! lol. good luck, i know you’ll like them.
Don’t waste your money. I bought a sample box (diff fragrances). they smell good but when you light them they don’t give off enough fragrance to know you even lit it. Sticl with wal-mart brand in large glass jar. (mulberry yum yum!!)
LOVE them!! They are the only candles I will buy. I used Yankee before partylite.
I found them a few years ago and was very impressed nothing burns like them. They actually burn away it turns to liquid and doesn’t leave a film. I burn mostly Pillars now but really liked the votive and tea lights oh and they last a long time. You can smell them even when they are not burning definitely worth the money.
If you want some awesome, strong smelling candles, then try Gold Canyon Candles. Not only are they less expensive than Yankee AND Partylite, but they are WAY BETTER! I am a candles fanatic and have been through them all! In fact, I like Gold Canyon so much that I even became demonstrator for them. You can go to this website and type in your zip code and it will give you the name of a rep in your area or you can just order them on-line. If you go to a rep, though, you can smell them before you order them…or better yet, book a party through them and get them for free! Hope this helps!
the best scents and the longest burning candle on the market is Gold Canyon candles.
Partylite just does not last as long and to me the scent is not enough.
Gold Canyon is the most cost efficient, burns long, even and clean and the scent is just as nice at the end as at the begining.
I looked into a lot of different candles before trying these and these are the best!
PS: when oyu order the GC candles- it gets sent out right away so you get it in about a week- 5 days at the most for me- usually 3 or 4 though!
I’ve tried partylite and they are ok but a little expensive in my op. The same for Yankee, they burn ok but have a lot of soot and are way over priced. I myself prefer some of the smaller candlemakers, the prices are better and the customer service as well as the quality of the candle is better. Because they are smaller they care more about pleasing the consumer. Some of my favorites are candlesbyvictoria.com
and if you like soy give rosewoodcandle.com a try. Also sugar shack candles in Nebraska is good.
If you dont have the answers to these questions after going to a show then the consultant did not do their job. Partylite is one of the best quality candles internationally. They find their pride in being the cleanest candles that even the White House and Birmingham Palace will only allow these candles within their premises. I have had several packs of these candles for over two years without using them and they have their same scent as they had when I received them. Yankee candles are not clean and burn carbon into the air… Your consultant SHOULD have told you all about the candles, their quality and how to care for them. You should have left with a desire to have these candles because they are high quality. I am a consultant myself… just started this year. And I can tell you that I wouldnt sell something unless it was high quality. Hope that this helps.
If you are looking for a great candle at a great price, check out the website I have listed. I do not own any partylite canldes but I hear they are way overpriced. This website offers an all natural 100% soy candle which last like 50% longer than any of the others, it burns completely clean and holds more scent. You can’t go wrong! They are very affordable. They want you to keep coming back and try to accomodate any request you can think of!!
I dont think they are worth it. And I dont like them! Sorry!
