I make candles using 2 pots (double broiler) Looking for another way to melt the wax?

I can no longer make candles inside my home due to the smell and other family members. I was thinking of a hot plate but want to get away from using 2 pots to do this. Anyone use anything different I can try out?

    Careful!
    Unless your heat source has good reliable temperature
    control to keep the peak temp. below about 250F. ,
    the use of ‘2 pot’s’, (a double boiler), is an important
    safety measure.

    They sell wax melting pots. Find them by searching the net!
