How many candles go in each window?

I have a 2 story Colonial with shuttered windows. I want to put those flickering battery opp’d candles in each window. I have been told to use 3 by one person, 1 by another and 2 by at third. How many should there be or what do you like best?

In case it matters, each window is 4 panes wide and 7 panes high. Thank you so much!

I want to replace my 75 watt bulb in the desk lamp with a candle stick. How much light does each candle give off? So how many candles would I need to replace the 75 watt light bulb?
