I know that you light 100 candles, sit in a circle and so on. If someone doesn’t have any paranormal experiences of their own, could they tell a ghost story they’ve heard of such as bloody marry or a legend or something like that?

  1. It is something of a Japanese Tradition (or game).

The idea was, during the Oban festival, everyone gets together and lights 100 candles. People tell ghost stories, and at the end of each one, they blow out a candle. When the last candle is extinguished, an actual ghost is supposed to appear….

Although my friends and I could never get through 100 stories, and we’d eventually give up.

  2. This is what I have been told..
you need of course 100 candles . As many friends as you have that are willing to join the circle. You take turns telling “true” stories about ghostly stuff .As each one compleats their story they blow out a candle..once all candles are blown out then and only if the stories were ture a ghost is supposed to appear. Now from what I understand they have to be personal and true stories.

  3. 100 Candles are lit & get as many people who are believers to sit around close together & each person tells an experience he/she had but it has to be true or say they truly believe then that person blows out the candle keep going until all candles are extinguished if all goes well a Spirit is supposed to appear & no you can’t use Bloody Mary etc OK

  4. just don’t do it

without an expert at hand you might be opening a door or window to something evil.
