I just bought a couple of Ear Candles and used both of them on my right ear because that’s where most of my ear congestion is. I was wondering if anybody knew why they take can take a couple days to work?
I’ve definitely heard of having to use two. Reason it takes a couple days is simple. The candling does not remove the wax, which is why many will say that candling doesn’t work. Candling softens your ear wax and causes it to fall out of your ear within a few days. Read more at the following link.
sorry, but you’ve wasted your money. Ear candles have been completely exposed as being a total scam. Do some research and you’ll find this out.
Ear candles are a hoax and total scam. The reason they take a “couple of days” to work is because the condition would go away on its own in “a couple of days”. The ear candles have done nothing, but the gullible still believe.
A couple of days? That’s a long time to lay with a candle in your ear!
Just buy one of those flush kits from the drug store. They work a lot better (they work!)
Ear Candles don’t do anything. In order for them to not be uncomfortable or dangerous they don’t raise heat in your ear above body temperature. Therefore your ear is just as capable of flushing out earwax (using heat) by itself. I tried them out, it was good fun, but served no purpose whatsoever, at the time or afterwards. But one my favourite scams actually for the sheer creativity of thinking up the idea. Harmless fun, that’s all.
Laying down in a hot bath will do a better job.
